Retail Showroom Manager
Job description
We are seeking an organised and enthusiastic Showroom Manager to oversee the operations of our furniture showroom in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in retail management, and a passion for creating exceptional customer experiences. An understanding of the furniture industry or an interest to work in the design industry would be a plus.

A multi brand showroom curated from the very best of Europe’s furniture and lighting manufacturers is looking for a retail design consultant to join our growing team in our brand new Stockbridge showroom.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management: Manage day-to-day operations, upkeep of pricing on items displayed in the showroom, ongoing order general admin, liaising with web design team and marketing team to ensure promotions are effectively communicated within store.
Customer Service: Ensure that customers are greeted appropriately & receive the highest level of customer service, from initial inquiry to post-purchase follow-up.
Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise.
Visual Merchandising: Collaborate with the Design Team to create visually appealing and engaging displays that showcase our furniture & homeware collections.
The successful applicant should have an excellent blend of the following skills and experience.
Proven experience in retail management, preferably in the furniture or home goods industry.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Knowledge/Interest in interiors/homeware.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Well-presented & energetic with a positive outlook.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
