Catalog x Habits: After Hours
[Summer Party with HAY]
A Summer Celebration with HAY & Habits at our Stockbridge Showroom.
Earlier this summer, we teamed up with @thisishaabits to host a vibrant evening in celebration of HAY’s brand new accessories collection, right here at our Stockbridge showroom.

Inspired by HAY’s iconic Midsommer party during 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen, we aimed to bring that same spirit of creativity and community to Edinburgh. Around 100 guests from across the city’s creative industries joined us for an evening of sunshine, design, and good company.
Outside, our space was transformed with HAY’s Palissade outdoor furniture, the perfect setup for guests to catch up over a drink and soak in the rare Scottish summer weather. Inside, Catalog curated an eye-catching installation made entirely of HAY crates, a playful nod to Edinburgh’s iconic Calton Hill.
HAY’s expanded Colour Crate collection with new sizes, lid options, and colourways – opening up fresh possibilities for storage, display, and integrate storage into your space. Made from 100% recycled post-consumer plastic, the updated crates combine functionality with a playful approach to everyday design. See the full collection here. Â
The event space mirrored the open-plan layout of the Copenhagen HAY store, filled with design-led moments and a showcase of HAY’s best-selling furniture alongside their striking new accessories collection.
Guests were welcomed at the door by Alix, founder of Habits, and Dixie, founder of Catalog, alongside Sian from HAY — each offering visitors a special gift in the form of HAY’s new shopper bags.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the evening so memorable:
For keeping glasses full
- Non World (non-alcoholic wine)
- Whitebox Cocktails
- Moonwake Beer
Our incredible DJ Callum McCulloch-Nowlan for setting the mood
And the ever-talented photographer Calum Huntington for capturing the magic
From creative conversations to sun-drenched moments and design inspiration all around, it was an unforgettable night celebrating the best of HAY, right here in Edinburgh.
