Shin Vase

Named after the Japanese word Shin, a concept associated with purity, truth, and authenticity, this collection is an invitation to embrace the beauty of simplicity. Defined by a calm geometric silhouette, its form is softened by gentle irregularities that create a natural rhythm and an almost hand-shaped expression.

Shin exists in the space between precision and softness, where quiet details reveal themselves over time. Light moves effortlessly across its contours, casting delicate shadows and highlighting the subtle character of each piece. In Carved ceramic, flowing grooves inspired by traditional Japanese stone gardens evoke the meditative patterns of raked sand, while the tactile surface invites a moment of stillness and reflection.

Crafted from ceramic and finished by hand, the Shin Vase, combines the permanence of fired clay with the soulful presence of the human hand. Subtle variations in tone, texture, and detail ensure that each piece is unique, while the carved surface adds depth and character to the geometric form.

Shin is more than a vase. It is a quiet presence that brings balance, warmth, and harmony to its surroundings, reminding us that true beauty often reveals itself in what is simple, honest, and enduring. Its considered proportions make the Shin Vase, a natural presence on a countertop, console, side table, shelf, or pedestal, where its geometric silhouette and carved surface can be appreciated up close.
