Origami Vase

from £72.00

101 CPH

Paper folding is an ancient art form in Japan entitled Origami and the series of vases sharing its name are deeply inspired by the meticulous and organic tradition. Imitating two pieces of paper folded towards each other, the vases are a refined and playful physical celebration of the technique. Soft meets sharp. Just like paper origami, it takes patience to truly master the method, so it took several attempts to achieve to current low falling round shape and thin opening of the vases. As it is a hand glazed natural product, the colours may vary slightly and while it is not 100% waterproof, a bag for fresh flowers is included.
