The anniversary edition of the iconic Shell Chair is made of FSCTM-certified rosewood and oak. The rosewood clearly references to the warm and vibrant wood types commonly used in the Danish Modern Design movement of the 1950s and 1960s.
The chair is available with optional seat upholstery in black, matt aniline leather from organically raised Danish cattle.
A small brass plate engraved with Hans J. Wegner's signature is mounted on the back of the chair.
